Privacy policy

In plain words: what data we process, why and for how long.

This is an English translation for convenience. The binding version is the Czech privacy policy.

Who is the controller

The controller of your personal data is Fox Nomads s.r.o., Company ID 24089087, with its registered office at Příčná 1892/4, 110 00 Praha 1 – Nové Město, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file C 438546 (“Fox Nomads” or “we”). For any questions about personal data you can contact us at firma.foxnomads@gmail.com or by phone at +420 733 777 697.

What data we process and why

Contact form, e-mail and phone

If you write to us through the form or by e-mail, or call us, we process your name, e-mail, phone number if given, the topic and the content of your message. We use this data only to reply to you and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal. You provide the data voluntarily, but without your contact details we cannot reply.

  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We therefore do not ask for consent to send the form.
  • Retention: while we handle your inquiry and then for no longer than 12 months if no contract results from it. If we do start working together, we keep the data for the duration of the contract and then for the period required by law (for example accounting and tax rules) or needed to protect our legal claims.

We will not send you marketing messages or a newsletter.

Visiting the website (server logs)

On every visit the server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, the address visited and the browser type. This is used to keep the website secure and running and to fix errors.

  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Retention: no longer than 14 days, after which the logs are deleted automatically.

Cookies and analytics

The website does not use advertising cookies or ad-targeting tools. Fonts and all website files are loaded from our own server, not from third parties. Your browser's storage (localStorage) only remembers your analytics choice, so we don't ask you again on every visit. This is necessary for the website to work and does not require consent.

The website currently does not use any analytics tools or analytics cookies.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data or pass it on for other companies' marketing. These providers help us with it:

  • Website hosting: NetCPU, the operator of the server the website runs on.
  • Receiving form messages: Formspree, Inc., USA, which receives the message and forwards it to us by e-mail.
  • E-mail: Google (Gmail), which we use to receive and send e-mails.
  • If we start working together, our accounting service also processes the data needed for invoicing. We only pass data to public authorities when the law requires it.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of these providers (Google, Formspree) may also process data in the USA. Such transfers are protected by the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) for certified companies, or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data and a copy of it,
  • request that it be corrected or erased,
  • request that processing be restricted,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • data portability,
  • withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing before the withdrawal),
  • lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7 (uoou.gov.cz).

To exercise your rights, just write to firma.foxnomads@gmail.com. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest. We do not make automated decisions that would have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Security

The website runs only over a secure HTTPS connection. Only people who need the data to handle your inquiry have access to it, and the accounts where we keep it are protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the way we process data changes (for example a new tool or provider). The current version is always on this page.

This policy is effective from 16 October 2026.
